Too much

The City is awash with suits 'boasting' details like the differently coloured sleeve button hole pictured here.

No doubt, at one time such details were truly distinctive and interesting (to some at least), but now it just seems naff to me.

All it says is:

a) I'm under 35 years of age
b) I bought my suits either off the peg or from a sub-Savile Row tailor
c) In a few years I'll replace all my suits with new, more expensive ones that don't sport/don't need such adornments

A coloured lining is fine because it's so discrete.  A ticket pocket is functional.

However, wearing such coloured details [literally] on your sleeve seems very faddish to me and jars with what classic style is about.

Thoughts?
