Treetop Walk at Kew Gardens

People walk along the Xstrata Treetop Walkway at Kew Gardens on May 22, 2008 in London, England. The 18m high Xstrata Treetop Walkway and the Rhizotron, which gives a unique opportunity for for visitors to view a tree's root system from underground, is part of Kew's summer festival and will open on the May 24 to the public.

Horticulture is not a real interest of mine.

However, I'm fresh back from a trip to Kew Gardens where the blooming daffodils and irises provided a banquet for the eyes.

As ever, the highlight for me though was the treetop walk.  It's amazing how the difference in perspective that it provides really does enable you to look at the world with your outlook refreshed.
