The best team won

It is the nature of sport that, by definition, the best team always wins.

Chelsea deserved to win the European Cup because they scored more goals.

Similarly, even though it was gut wrenching to watch, Australia deserved to beat Wales with the last kick of the match yesterday.

I just hope that Wales can use the psychological effects of such a dramatic defeat in a positive way.

The truth is that they are easily good enough to beat Australia and that day will surely come soon.
